A very special, furry group of volunteers at Temple Street Children’s University have been touching the lives of our patients and their families. These dogs and their owners are a part of the Dog Therapy Program at Temple Street which started in 2010.
We have two furry volunteers called Max and Buttons. At Temple Street, therapy dogs have been implemented into assisting in physical therapy, easing anxiety and pain management amongst many other things. Ultimately, this group of unique volunteers bring smiles and joy to the patients and their families.
