Statement of Guiding Principles

Michaels BTemple Street Foundation was established in 2000 to raise awareness and funds for the hospital.

The Foundation is fully committed to achieving the standards contained within the Statement of Guiding Principles of Fundraising as set out by the ICTR. The ICTR is the representative organisation of charities (over 150 member organisations) committed to creating the climate for a vibrant, independent charity sector in Ireland.  They focus particularly on policy issues and the promotion of best practice and public confidence in the sector. Visit their website here.

The Statement exists to:

  1. Improve fundraising practice
  2. Promote high levels of accountability and transparency by organisations fundraising from the public
  3. Provide clarity and assurances to donors and prospective donors about the organisation they support

We, Temple Street Foundation, Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, have considered the Statement and believe we meet the standards it sets out.
