Avon High Octane Challenge

Join us in taking on the Avon High Octane challenge’ for Children’s Health Foundation on Friday October 15th 2021 at Avon Ri in Blessington, Co. Wicklow, to help raise vital funds for Irelands sick children in CHI hospitals and urgent care centres.

This is a seriously active challenge so get out from behind your desk, dust of the cobwebs and have some serious fun with your friends, team mates or work colleagues.  This event also has a competitive flavour which sees teams of 6 taking on the high octane challenge at the Avon in a scored event.

Do you & your team have what it takes to win this challenge?

The Challenge involves:

·       Climbing

·       Open canoeing

·       Archery

·       Foot orienteering

·       Air rifling

·       Zip Lining

This is a serious day out, all while raising vital funds to support the care of sick children across CHI hospitals and urgent care centres.

Funds raised from the challenge will support the work with sick children in CHI at Connolly, Crumlin, Tallaght and Temple Street. Each day across CHI hospitals and urgent care centres, thousands of sick children and their worried parents are coming through the doors in need of world-class paediatric care and treatment. The funds raised ensure that the hospitals have state-of-the-art equipment for operations, pain and fluid pumps that provide medication and comfort during a child’s stay in hospital. They fund equipment that provide fast test results and diagnoses, multi-sensory equipment that creates a warm, engaging and child-centred environment and so much more.

Spaces are limited with a registration fee of €75 per person to secure a place. In addition, Children’s Health Foundation ask that a minimum of €200 be raised per person so that together we can ensure that children continue to have access to the best facilities, services, and equipment when they need it most. This is the power of your support.

The easiest way to register is to simply reply to this email and we can get started.

We are really hoping you will join us in this challenge to support Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin and Temple Street and help us give every sick child every chance. If you have any questions, please get in touch by emailing communities@childrenshealth.ie to find out more information.
