2FM presenter and entertainment reporter Lottie Ryan pledges her support for the beloved children’s hospital #TempleStreetKids

lottie 2Broadcaster Lottie Ryan paid a very special visit to Temple Street Children’s Hospital this month where she was announced as an official ambassador. The 2FM presenter and entertainment reporter celebrated her new role as an ambassador for the beloved children’s hospital by dropping into the wards and meeting some of its little stars.

Lottie hosts ‘The Early, Early Breakfast Show’ every weekend and is the daily entertainment reporter on 2FM. The announcement comes as Temple Street Foundation continues its ambitious campaign to raise €5 million to build a much needed Neurology and Renal Outpatients Unit.

Paediatric Neurology and Renal treatment are two of the hospital’s major specialties, and the expert care in these units is a life-line for over 6,000 children from all over Ireland each year.

“I’m excited to join forces with Temple Street Children’s Hospital as an ambassador. The work that’s done here is exceptional. The patients and staff need every bit of support they can get. The courage and bravery that these kids show is inspiring.  If there’s anything I can do to help them on their journey I feel very honoured.”

Lottie is no stranger to Temple Street and remembers her own childhood visits:

“Anyone I know has had a lottie 3connection with the hospital in some form or another. I know I ended up in here on numerous occasions with broken bones growing up! Fingers crossed we can all work together to improve any and everyone’s experience who needs the hospital’s services.”
