What will the money raised from this raffle be used for?
The money raised from this raffle will go towards the purchase of a new Ultrasound scanner for our radiology department and a number of paediatric cots for our critical care wards.
Ultrasound technology has progressed greatly in the last ten years providing:
- greater diagnostic capabilities
- enhanced imaging
- a wider range of applications to improve both patient and family experience.
Having access to this latest model will also reduce overall scan times, resulting in shorter more efficient visits.
The benefits of these newer cots are:
- greater functionality
- adjust electronically making it easier for doctors and nurses to treat each child.
- provide greater safety and comfort.
