Primark

With over 320 stores operating as Primark internationally and employing 68,000 people worldwide, Penneys is one of Ireland’s biggest retail successes. Temple Street has partnered with Penneys over three years for their Late Late Toy Show Campaign which includes a full range of branded merchandise

in the run-up to the Late Late Toy Show airing on RTE. The range includes pyjama sets, babygrows, blankets, slippers, tree baubles and much more. The collection is developed to be used by viewers of the LLTS as they settle in for the evening to get comfy and watch the iconic Christmas TV toy show.

The combined brand power of the iconic Late Late Toy Show, Temple Street and Penneys has made this collection a runaway success with the number of items in the collection growing year-on-year and some items selling out in record time!

It is the perfect example of smart branding and well-matched cause-related marketing, as the collection offers products which are practical to the LLTS viewer, a demographic who resonates closely with Temple Street’s mission of ensuring every child in Ireland has access to the highest standard of medical care.

Q-Park

Q-Park is one of Ireland’s leading car park operators. The company owns and manages over 30 car parks throughout the island of Ireland. One of their car parks, Q-Park Clerys on Cathal Brugha Street, is very local to Temple Street.

In 2014, Q-Park chose to establish a cause related marketing partnership with Temple Street Foundation. Given the fact that they have a large and safe parking facility so close to the hospital, Q-Park felt that they could make a meaningful difference to the lives of families visiting Temple Street, who often struggle with parking and transport arrangements. At the same time, Q-Park can raise awareness of their support of Temple Street and encourage Temple Street staff, families and friends to use their parking facilities.

Through the partnership, Q-Park offers a discounted Temple Street parking rate in Q-Park Clerys, Cathal Brugha Street, of €6 for up to 24 hours. €1 from every ticket is donated to Temple Street Children’s University Hospital. Thanks to visitors of Temple Street Hospital who have taken up the Q-Park Clerys special offer, and of course to Q-Park, over €38,000 has been raised for Temple Street Foundation since the partnership was established.

These funds have helped ensure that we can provide world-class medical treatment to every sick child who comes through our doors in need of care. Most recently, Q-Park funds allowed us to upgrade the Parents Room in our ICU, providing a comforting space for parents of critically ill children to have a break from the ward.
To avail of this offer, Temple Street visitors just need to have their parking ticket validated in the main hospital reception before leaving the hospital. Thank you Q-Park for your on-going support and generosity to our special hospital!
