What did they do?

Medicare, Ireland’s leading provider of family first aid, commissioned limited edition ‘Kiss Them Better’ plasters.  For every pack of Medicare plasters bought from pharmacies throughout the country, the Limerick based first-aid company, Medicare, make a donation to Temple Street.  Medicare Plasters, with the special Kiss Them Better logo, are available in most pharmacies throughout the country.  Medicare has pledged to continue their support of Temple Street into 2014 with their ‘limited edition’ plasters.  Check out for more information.

Funds raised, lives saved

“As an Irish family company, Medicare are delighted to be associated with Temple Street Children’s Hospital where our medicare® ‘Kiss Them Better’ campaign, in conjunction with our Pharmacies Partners nationwide , has to date raised over €20,000  towards the purchase of vital medical equipment for Temple Street.  Nothing says ‘making it better’ than putting a plaster on it and ‘kissing it better’ – Mark Fleming, MD, Medicare.

“I am proud to be a medicare® ‘Kiss Them Better’ ambassador for Temple Street Children’s Hospital. This is my second year to endorse this campaign that supports funds for vital medical equipment for sick children. It has been a privilege to be able to visit and meet some very brave children at a scary time in their little lives. Temple Street, with the support of medicare® plasters and the ‘Kiss Them Better’ campaign, are a force for setting and achieving inspirational goals”
