Our charity partner Tesco Ireland has launched a floral bouquet in support of Temple Street. The Temple Street bouquet can be bought from Thursday 19th May for just €10. For every bunch purchased, Tesco will donate €1 to the hospital.
The floral arrangement is made up of pink gerberas and a mix of purple and white summer chrysanthemums – a nod to our Temple Street logo. All funds raised throughout the summer months will go directly to support the purchase of life-saving medical equipment.
Denise Fitzgerald CEO of Fundraising for Temple Street said: “Buying this beautiful summer bouquet for a loved one is a wonderful gesture; made even sweeter by the fact that you are also directly helping our little patients in Temple Street. The funds raised by the sale of these flowers will buy the much-needed medical equipment that is needed to help heal sick children every day. I’d like to warmly thank our charity partner Tesco Ireland for this initiative and for their on-going dedication and support of Temple Street.”
Melissa Hynes Horticultural Buyer at Tesco said: “Flowers are the perfect way to make a loved-one or friend feel special, so we wanted to make our shoppers feel extra special in knowing that they are also supporting a fantastic children’s charity. We worked with Keeling’s Flowers to create a bouquet that will work for any occasion and we’re asking our shoppers to say it with flowers this summer and buy the Temple Street bouquet, because every little really will help a whole bunch!”
The Temple Street Floral bouquet (€10) goes on sale in store nationwide from Thursday 19th – Simply look out for the purple Temple Street tag.
