Notes to the Editor

Temple Street Children's University Hospital
Established in 1872, Temple Street Children's University Hospital is a national facility that provides paediatric care to children from all over Ireland.

Each year, over 125,000 sick children are cared for in Temple Street, the Accident and Emergency Department caters for 50,000 children annually, making it one of the busiest A&E facilities in Europe.

Temple Street Hospital is now providing increasingly specialised services to the children in our care and the demand on limited resources is growing all the time. As a result, we are constantly striving to provide the required specialist skills and equipment, introduce new technologies and to ensure that we have provided the best possible environment for the children in our care.
