Lindt donates thousands of Gold Bunnies to raise funds for Temple Street
For the 3rd Lindt ‘Make Easter Sweet for Temple Street' campaign

The Lindt Gold Bunny is on his way to make this Easter (Sunday 4th April) very special for all Lindt chocolate lovers everywhere. Once again Lindt has teamed up with Temple Street Children's University Hospital to raise much-needed funds for a very worthwhile cause with the Lindt ‘Make Easter Sweet For Temple Street' campaign 2010.
All funds raised from this year's Lindt ‘Make Easter Sweet for Temple Street' campaign will go towards the Temple Street Neurosurgery Appeal to assist patients suffering from diseases or injuries of the brain or spine. These include patients with brain tumours, brain haemorrhage and spinal malformations or injuries as well as the treatment of some forms of cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the purchase of vital neurosurgical equipment to ensure Temple Street patients receive the best possible standard of care during this traumatic time in their lives.
"We are delighted that Lindt will once again support the work of Temple Street. The success of last year's Lindt Gold Bunny campaign enabled the hospital to purchase incubators for the neo-natal and intensive care units. We rely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters to achieve our fundraising goals so we are very grateful to Lindt and to everyone who got behind the campaign and bought a Lindt Gold Bunny. The funds raised this year will go towards our Neurosurgery Appeal and the purchase of vital neurosurgical equipment," said Angela McNulty, Special Events Manager, The Fundraising Office, Temple Street Children's University Hospital.

Lindt has donated thousands of Lindt 10g Gold Bunnies which will be available to chocolate lovers for a minimum donation of €1 in a selection of Shopping Centres throughout the country coming up to Easter (please see notes to editor for further details). To find out about Lindt "Make Easter Sweet for Temple Street" fundraising activity, Shopping Centre locations and dates and other campaign surprises log on to www.templestreet.ie and look under "Our events".
The fund raising activity will be kicked off with a weekend of ‘bunny fun', as the real life bunny hutch returns to Dundrum Town Centre for the weekend of the 20th & 21st March. Bunny hutches will also be in Blanchardstown S.C 27th & 28st March, Ikea 23rd-25th March, Mahon Point S.C 27th & 28th March, Pavillion swords 29th to 31st March and Liffey Valley S.C. 30th March to 1st April. Chocolate lovers can pick up a delicious 10g Lindt Gold Bunny for a minimum donation of €1, with every cent going to Temple Street.
The Lindt Gold bunny has massive appeal to people of all ages and has an uncanny ability to bring a smile to millions of faces every Easter. Lindt is excited to be part of such a worthwhile cause and hope that Gold bunny fans will come out in full force to show their support for Temple Street and raise much needed funds.
