We are delighted to announce that the Annual Aer Arann Half Marathon, Inis Mor will take place on the weekend of 19th -21st April 2013.

2013 REGISTRATION FORM

Last year the funds you raised were used to purchase 2 ICU Specification Patient Monitoring Units, which are vital for the hospital to provide the best possible care to the children who pass through our doors. Without this support we would not be in a position to constantly improve our services. Thank you all so much for making this possible.

This year we are hoping to raise €60,000 to purchase 4 diathermy machines to be used in theatre. These machines are necessary pieces of equipment for the operating theatre and provide optimal support for operative procedures in virtually all medical fields. The diathermy machine is used in theatre and is employed in a controlled manner during surgery to seal small blood vessels by coagulation and to cut through layers of tissue.

This year the fundraising target is €650 per participant. This target must be achieved no later than 15th March 2013 and when registering an initial non-refundable deposit of €200 is required (this deposit of €200 will form part of the overall €650). We would like to stress that only a completed entry form, together with your deposit, will secure your place. Once this target is achieved, return flights from Connemara Airport, (Inverin to Inis Mor), your accommodation and food are covered for the weekend.
